The FEC Cutting Press incorporates a Hydraulic Type Press, wherein the die is held in a fixed plate with its edges facing downwards. The sample is placed on a moving plate below the die. The plate along with the sample is moved up with the help of a hydraulic jack. The capacity of this press is about 2.0 ton. Cutting Press is built on a rigid metallic base plate and finished in Autumn Gray & Blue combination painting and bright chrome / zinc plating to give it a corrosion resistant finish.
