Out line of the test method

This is a test method for determining the resistance of a paint film to penetration by scratching with a needle

The test may be used a Go/No-Go test by applying a single specified load to the needle it may also be used by applying increasing loads to the needle to determine the maximum load at which the coating is pulled/penetrated to the substrate .
